Healthy Education is stress free
Education should give happiness and should inspire and nourish inner growth. Education that gives knowledge and experience stays in our Awareness for eternity.
Education is a tool for inner change. All educational systems use different tools to connect the child’s mind to the knowledge that is imparted. However, career secured education in the minds of parents have pressurized educational systems throughout the globe to focus only on securing marks on a competitive basis, without focusing on the child’s inner connection to the knowledge. Since technology is vastly developing, the use of innovative technological tools to revolutionize the learning environment has become inevitable. However, if latest technology continues to emphasize still on the quantity of learning without connecting to the knowledge that the child learns, then it will

1. dampen creativity due to failure of grasping conceptual patterns,

2. force stressful memorizing methods,

3. by just letting memorize facts, it hinders connection to the inner Self, leading to the loss of

inner guidance, motivation, and the purpose of life,

4. handicaps the application of learned knowledge in our practical life,

5. undermines integration of the individual to the society, wiping away our responsibility to the society, leading to violence driven life.

Uni5 system reminds the missed objective: Education should give independence to thought and action of an individual, however within an unconditioned frame of reference. In our current education system, we often overlook the most vital aspect, which is to connect oneself to the very knowledge one learns. The Uni5 system of education (UES) is designed by integrating values from the other educational systems like the Vedic system, Dr. Maria Montessori educational system, and the ‘ABL Method’ for this inner-connectedness. In this system, the children understand in a deep manner that “what is outside (external) is also inside (Self)”, and “what is inside is also outside”. This completely connects children to “the knowledge”, the society, and the universe to their personal Self. A complete educational system thus integrates the aspect to be known, with the knower and the knowledge that is learned.

Uni5 system reminds us the key missed objectives in the current learning system.

1.Recent educational systems focuses more on the mind-blowing discoveries and innovations that improve the quality of our lives, but it hardly connects the student to himself and does not make them understand the grand cosmic pattern, “that our micro-cosmic world is similar to the macro-cosmos”. Uni5 system addresses this micro and macro-cosmic connection in every step through a simple universal pattern methodology. The child minimizes memorizing because the child finds the universal pattern in everything.
2.Children are over loaded with fascinatingin all the subjects. For example, in biology, they learn about human body functioning. However, they are not connected to the similar patterns of the mind. When the student understands that the thought processes of the mind involves similar patterns such as digestion, excretion, respiration, reproduction, and maintenance of balance, then he is enabled to connect knowledge not only broadly across subjects, but more importantly to himself. Uni5 system helps the child to apply the concepts of the body functioning to keep the mind (personality) healthy and happy. The universal pattern motivates the child to self discover knowledge within, leading to more creativity.
3.Most of the schools focuses on educating nice outside behavior, but not educating the student to accept situations as they come up and allow them to build the inner strength and confidence to act in a truthful, just, and appropriate manner by referring to his inner pattern. Through the Uni5 system, a child needs hardly any external guidance to find an easy inherent system that is in-tune with the external world. Since the Universal pattern connects the inner and the external world of the child, the knowledge is very easily assimilated in practical life.
4.In modern society, we are technologically connected to individuals far away, but remain in a virtual world, which lacks a true social connection with our fellow beings as an extended family. Through Uni5 system, children show social responsibility very naturally by tapping to their own inherent love, like a flower gives out its natural fragrance. The universal pattern helps the child to accept everyone as they are, bringing forth love to all beings in the society and at the same time take responsibility to bring changes wherever and whenever necessary.
5.The competitive force that gives stress to children is redirected in the Uni5 system internally, where the focus is in their inner connectivity of knowledge, leading to Self improvement and contentment.

The Universal Five Energy Pattern

1.One aspect of Energy is in the form of least changing inert state called as the physical body or the “Earth Element”.
2.Energy also has rapid changing quality through interactions or combinations called the chemical mind or the “Water element”.
3.Energy also exists in the facilitating, organizing nature called as the thermal or the intelligence or the “Fire element”.
4.Energy also has the inherent quality to localize, which is known as the Self-Awareness or the “Air element”.
5.Energy when delocalizes, it is known as the Consciousness or the “Space element”.

These five energy patterns are Universal and acknowledged both in the ancient and the modern society. Example, these five energy patterns have been called as Pancha Bhootas and is the fundamental principle of all the arts and sciences in the Indian Vedic Society. All the branches of sciences were given to students within a relatively short period of time using this powerful technology.

Universal Five Pattern concept map: In the Uni5 Sakthi school, we help children to create concept maps keeping the Universal five pattern as the frame of reference. For example, to study the periodic table of elements, we use red colored marbles to represent the elemental formations. They arranged one red colored marble as Hydrogen electron, two red colored marbles for two electrons in Helium, three red colored marbles for three electrons in Lithium, four for four electrons in Beryllium and five for five electrons in Boron. The students made a concept map connecting to the Universal pattern that, electrons in varying numbers formed the physical (Earth) body of the elements. The varying numbers contribute to varying chemical nature (Water) of the elements. The self organizing nature of the electrons based on their most stable nature formed the intelligence (Fire) nature of the elements. The tremendous localized Energy (gluing force) within each element giving an unique Self identity is the Air element aspect of the elements. Fundamentally the students also recognize the universality of everything which they connect to the Space element.

Next they are motivated to question, where, how and who formed these various elements? The students connected the whole principle by inquiring to the pattern within themselves. They said that all the different thoughts they have are self organized by their intelligence. They came up with the answer that the internal Self organizing intelligence has the qualities of external Fire element and so all the elements should have been formed in a place with high heat like stars. We could see the joy of the children in this self discovery. Through this methodology, they not only connected the knowledge to themselves but also interlinked to the various other branches of life.

Connecting Concepts: Students connected the concept of formation of matter in fire, to the heat involvement in biochemical reactions, and also linked to heat involved in cooking food, as light in photosynthesis and as intelligence in us for organizing various thoughts to have a coherent thinking process. They do all the concepts like playing with a jigsaw puzzle, where all the pieces have a similar pattern in their shape. Keeping the shape pattern (structurality) as the frame of reference, they were able to self discover the phenomenon (functionality) of nature. Students showed interest in self learning science, arts and math using the Universal Five pattern system like connecting the zig-saw puzzles and correctly recognizing the patterns of the zig-saw pieces.

Instead of an endless list of memorized facts soon to be forgotten and beyond even understanding of concepts, with the Uni5 education children truly grasp the connection of their inside nature with the universe and own what was learned. Thus, with the Uni5 pattern we educate children in Self-identification, which is understanding the structures of their own Body - Mind - Intelligence – Awareness and Consciousness within themselves. This Uni5 pattern they then use in recognizing all branches of Sciences, Arts, Mathematics and Social studies.There are several evidences of the cosmic pattern in us. Example is the power of ten, the Cosmic within.

Uni5 Schools: We have implemented this for the past four years in Sakthi School as early Childhood program in Sendurai Village Dindigul District and recently in Porayar Village near Nagapattinam district, Tamail Nadu, India.

We have three mixed age groups of human developmental phases, which are the groups from 1 to 3 years, 4 to 6 years and 7 to 12 years. Children within these age groups are in a single classroom. We consider this one of the many unique aspects of the Sakthi School where we have found that older children became an inspiration for the younger children in learning. The older ones learn by explaining to the younger ones. They also learn to be responsible and protective of their younger ones. The large mixed age group helps in the strengthening of self respect, confidence, inner order, self learning, grasping concepts, holistic knowledge in all disciplines and social value skills.

This Uni5 School system has helped parents to be aware of their child’s growth and development or their inner-change. The educational techniques direct the child’s energy in more constructive work. The love and caring environment gives no stress to the child to learn from the concrete level to abstraction. The Uni5 educational system becomes unique in integrating the knowledge gained in school to their own Self, the society, and the Universe.

Uni5 education embraces all levels of our reality, that is our body, mind and intelligence with the society and universe to create an individual who is responsible to the own Self and society. Such an individual who discovers inner happiness can give happiness to others. Self-integrity summarizes this concept. Self-integrity is a quality, which refers to an individual’s Self connection to everything and holds everyone together. This is the deeper meaning of Dharma “that which supports and holds together”. Adhering to Dharma allows an individual to fulfill the goal of his life and a society to evolve.
