To have no rebirth, is it just enough to perform self less actions without having any Ego feelings or do we also need to concentrate on our any of the neglected unfulfilled desires too? Because the desires if left unfulfilled may encourage the soul to be born again and get satisfied.

Is there a rebirth? Yes, because nothing (no thing) is destroyed, there is only transformation from one form to another in newer combinations (then we contradict Science and reality).

In another words, we can destroy only forms and not Energy. (Example, we cannot destroy a paper (Energy in it) by burning it, but only destroy its form. This means from its form of paper (Carbon atom in cellulose form) is changed to free form as smoke (Carbon-dioxide). This Carbon-di-oxide will interact with other molecules and form new combinations of objects. The fundamental carbon atom cannot be destroyed (somebody can argue it can also be destroyed by breaking into sub-atomic components. Finally ask, what is that subtlest aspect which cannot be divided further.

The same way changing aspects are our body components, but the subtlest-fundamental cannot be destroyed. It takes new forms and we call it as rebirth.

That fundamental aspect is known as Vaasana (the "I"ness attributes of Ego), which keeps on taking new forms again and again as rebirth. Vaasana also is Energy and cannot be destroyed, it can only be transformed. Energy can not be destroyed but only transformed. All vaasanas can be transformed to an unmanifest state called Consciousness or Brahmam or Purusha. This process is known as Moksha, which is a state of no-re-birth.

Is it just enough to perform self less actions without having any Ego feelings or do we also need to concentrate on our any of the neglected unfulfilled desires too? You already gave the answer that unfulfilled desires is a pain in heart and keeps on irking all the time and needs rebirth to enjoy it.

So fulfill the desire with awareness of leaving no trace of the desirer. It is the desirer who creates again and again desires. This means, leave no trace of the doer and the enjoyer. If actions are done with "I" doership, then that doer, again likes to enjoy again and again. If actions are done without the doership, then the desirer fades leaving no trace.

This is why in Vedic rituals always "Camphor" is used. Camphor is one of the few, that after burnt will not leave any trace (ash). A cotton wick after burning will leave its trace mark.

Doing more selfless thoughts and action is the way to fade away doershipness. Doing this one slowly transforms from the body level, to mind level and then to intelligence and finally transcend to awareness level. Then it is easier state to Moksha.

@Sakthi
Thank you so much for the clarification.

What is a True desire, how do we identify?

How about there once was some desire before but now if that desire doesn't have any place any more.Does it mean there is still desire?

How will we know that we are transforming from Body level to Mind level to intelligence level and Awareness level?

@Sakthi - Very nicely explained. Transformation is the only thing is happening "FROM HERE TO HERE". Very nicely explained that the identity "I" as the vaasana. In another terms, the fragrance of the rose makes it a rose, else it will be a flower. But the fragrance is an integral part of the flower's creation. So how does a rose can become a flower? Here the rose by itself remains unaffected, but the problem is for the fragrance / vaasana.

Like this an individual remains unaffected always, but only the fragrance / nature / vaasana has the problem. Most of the time we identify ourselves to the fragrance / nature / vaasana and think we are in problem, but in reality we are not in problem. When we stop identifying ourselves to the vaasana then the individual becomes unaffected.

How will we know that we are transforming from Body level to Mind level to intelligence level and Awareness level?

For example you get a desire to eat a cake. But you are diabetic. When the desire comes, the intelligence tells you not to eat because your sugar level will increase. If the intelligence voice is loud enough the mind will yield and you don't eat the cake. Here the desire came and gets burned by intelligence thus preventing the desire to manifest. When you see the same scenario from awareness level, this situation was created by awareness to test and evolve the individual. Everything happens to an individual is nothing by an opportunity created by the awareness to the individual to evolve. When the awareness level increases then this internal transformation/burning of desire happens so rapidly the individual doesn't even sees the desire arising, so they are called desireless person. Here the external body is connected directly to the awareness by-passing mind and intelligence and it does the act of consciousness.

I hope the above makes sense for the 3 questions.

Thanks for this opportunity to express myself.

@Muthu
Thanks for sharing.
That's right, but there seems to be lot of things involved for rebirth like any feelings of guilt i.e. of the mistakes we made earlier.
I would like to be very clear about these things and move forward step by step.

@Neelima

The feeling like guilt is a by product of performing an action with "I'm doing" sense.

To start with, let us say there are only YOU/Jeevathma and CONSCIOUSNESS/Paramathma. If this is the case everything except YOU is the CONSCIOUSNESS. If the world is perceived in this manner, everything happens around YOU and in YOU are act of the ONE to evolve YOU. So when action is performed connect it to the ONE, then the feeling like guilt will start diminishing.

The first step which I think is essential is TRUST that everything is ONE, then go towards NON-JUDGEMENTAL mode and start ACCEPTING.
