We get Vitamin D from the Sun, during the period of Sun rise and Sun set.

Does the direct Sun's rays need to be fallen on our skin to acquire Vit D or even just the Sun light that is spread around the blue sky is also good enough to provide us with Vit D? Please clarify. Thanks.

It is like plants growing in the shade and plants growing in direct sun-light. Obviously you know that there is higher power when the sun rays directly hit our skin. But care should be taken on the uv light radiation especially if we are fair skin. If not, the morning sun and evening sun rays are less intense in UV light. see this link .

To get good vit D, best to be exposed to sunlight directly in the early morning or in evening.
