Is it okay for our family members to watch while I perform rituals like Camphor burning or Neelanjanam? My daughter likes to watch?

Can these rituals like Ganesh pooja, Pitru pooja, camphor burning, Neelanjanam be done together as a family and if yes, will it be beneficial for the whole family?

@Neelima

Definitely you should involve your daughter in rituals.

For example today morning we celebrated Tamil New Year in our home.

Today morning my daughter was made to see the fruits on the plate in the pooja room after she woke up and as expected she asked me WHY DO WE KEEP FRUITS TODAY?

Below is the discussion which we had

I - Who gives fruit to us?
my daughter - Kuttima
I - Which Kuttima?
my daughter - Annapoorani Kuttima
I - In which form Annapoorani Kuttima gives fruits?
my daughter - Plants and trees
I - Does the plants and trees eat the fruits?
my daughter - No
I - So who eats fruits?
my daughter - Kuttima
I - In which form kuttima eats fruits?
my daughter - In our body form
I- So we see that the plants gives fruits, but doesn't eat their own fruit.
my daughter - Yes
I - Kuttima puts a seed in the ground and the plants grow from that slowly and then it grows into trees and give flower first and then gives "kaai" and then the "kaai" becomes fruits. Like this your body seed was given to amma and then your body grows slowly and then now you go school to learn more and after learning, the knowledge which you get is the fruit. Like tree's fruit your knowledge need to be consumed by others. This is the reason kuttima gave you this body.
my daughter - ok

All the above discussion happened in tamil.

Kaai - In tamil it means unrippened fruit.
Kuttima - A childish way to mention Consciousness.

So involve the kids in rituals, this will increase the curiosity and they gets benefited in many different ways.

Yes if the family members obsrve and involve all of them get the Energy benefit,. If children or adults can chant Om Namah Shivaya while observing it will still be better. Om Namah Shivaya means " I identify to the Pure Awareness".
