Question - I am in menstruation period. Lot of pressure at home asking me to visit temple without purifying myself. They all say it is superstitious and has no belief in these ideas.

Answer Tell the family to ask the temple if they will allow you. Ask them how would they feel in peak covid time if you were coughing and went near them without mask who did not believe in COVID. Plus ask them to read scientific papers which says when a women menstruates her reproductive organ uterus is open to infections. This is why traditionally Indian women did not go out in public in periods and wee shunned out. They had cloth diapers still they did not go out. Modern women who dont understand Indian spirituality and criticized these are now suffering from vaginal dysbiosis. In Western countries 06-May-2021 —, chlamydia was by far the most common STD in the United States with around 1.16 million cases among females and over 644000 cases ...Nearly 1 in 4 Teen Girls Has STD, CDC Says - ABC News. Tell the family they are only non-scientific and living non-sense life style and they cannot compel you to be like them, because you care for your health.

Ask them to google "Vaginal Dysbiosis". Also to read why women cannot enter Sabarimala in this web site.
