Mountain presentation was well grasped by children and they gave more information about mountains. 

A 3.25 year old child explored the model and spoke many things. [i]

Moon's phases chart was done, children observed, this will introduced from new moon day after Deepawali. [i]

A 4 year old child explored vehicles book with perfect terms. [i]

Children were given enough space and time with freedom to talk and share their experiences. A child after seeing panchamruth bottle spoke about his visit to Palani hills. [i]

PUNGERI

1 year old infant is now very clear about proper winding up.[b]

3.5 year old child matched shells and also said that sea will make sound like listening to the sound inside conchs. [i]

Children are very particular about time and each presentation. [i]

Children are much about land forms and crops.[i]

PORAIYAR

3.5 year old child related manjal abishekam to Saradha and her own bathing. She said that her mother said manjal will remove all skin infection. [i]

When children came inside the center after arranging the stand, a 5 year old child asked them to wash their hands before taking the materials for work. [b]
 
During rain, a 3 year old child connected it with snow fall also. [i]
 
A 4 year old child was very correct in answering about mountain ranges. [i]
 
Children compared the ranges with steps and many children connected the mountains with the Tamil name ''kurinji'' [i]
 
A 2 year old child wasted a bucket of water and she was condemned by another 4 year old child sating,''Ganga will never give water to our village, if you waste like this!'' [i]

When we did kara niyaasan most of the children tried to pronounce the Sanskrith words respective to the kara niyaasam.

Elder children follow the ground rules more perfectly.

Mind –

Children enjoyed and participated with us in waves drama.

Intelligence –

When sand paper was given in Tamil, children are able to relate the words with uni5 concepts, Children spoke about salt and its use, ginger and its uses.

When a magnet was shown 3 year old child compared with full moon, sun, weather clock. and verbalized properly.

Govardhan Mountain was introduced with forest conservation concept.

CBE

Body – one new admission, we have 43 new children.

Mind – The special child is doing all the activities, understanding our communication, mingling with all.

3 year old child was crying and said that his mother bet him. Teachers must talk to the parent.

A 3 year old child spoke much about sea during presentation.

A 3year old child spoke a lot about globe.

A new 3 year old child totally explored the environment with awareness.

A 2 year old new child was keeping on crying, came and sat near the PC to watch the real sea.

Poraiyar

A child saw Anna Poorani idol sitting in folded leg posture like Indian style of sitting for eating and compared that with food, table manners etc.

A child was totally mood off because her kolusu was removed. But she was totally happy when her mother came and gave the new one.

Daily food was given to Saradhambal, a mother came and took permission to feed that food to all children.

When curd was presented a child clearly gave the cow – ghee flow talk.

A child cared another child hurt and spoke with compassion about medication.

Pungeri

A 2 year old child worked perfectly with Indian balance.

A child took the doll’s cap and made the Krishna idol to wear and relished that.

Children smelled bringal carefully following all our instructions.

A 4 year old child asked the 5 year old child to trace the angles of pentagon and gave the name.

A child made earth mover with lagos.

A 4.5 year old child presented clock, time to another child perfectly.

Children were curious about brinjal seeds before got presented.

When we were singing the train song a special child tried to dance and fall, an elder child assisted that child to hold and do the action. [The parents say that they don't have time to take the child to the Dr. We have strongly condemned this attitude]

The 1.5 year old infant stood long time near Shiva-Parvathy and spoke for long time.

He also touched and explored Mathangi idol's various parts, parrot, garments etc.

4.5 year old child dropped her flowers, this was taken and given by another girl, both of them saw them-self in the mirror.

A child plaited the jadai material and she too plaited her own hairs and saw that in mirror.

Children knew to ask permission, observe civics order.

Body level - Very huge Shiva-Parvathy doll was placed in the environment and children observed the colors, forms, beauty of the idol and spoke much about it. This has to be connected and used for role play, language activities. 

Mind: A 1.5 year old new girl was crying and an elder child made her to paste the marudhani and stopped her cry. When we introduced musical tools, most of the children started dancing with fun.

Intellectual - A 2.5 year old new boy is always in fond of idols and spoke much to them. An elder child introduced stringing of beads to this boy perfectly like teachers. 

We showed a real sparrow nest with eggs. The new 1.5 year old infant saw others wishing and he too observed and wished us.

When we showed slat - farm, we spoke about sea water few children recollected the neidhal concept and said even they can take pearls from sea.

Awareness - A child called his mother and went near the child and introduced Shiva - Parvathy as Universal parents.

CBE

 A 2.5 year old child taught many ground rules to a new child. The team has the challenge to handle fresh 14 children. Among them one girl child is down syndrome and we must be aware about it. We gave time for this team to settle. But we came to know that elder children took materials and guided the fresh children.

Pungeri - 

Mind - A 3 year old child put the cylinders wrongly and unable to remove from the sockets. By seeing this child voluntarily assisted him to remove that.

Intelligence - In art and craft we gave the activity of stitching buttons. 

A child was observing long rods and teachers introduced them. After the presentation the child placed them perfectly.

A 3.5 year old child corrected the names of animals to a new 4 .5 year child.

A 2.5 year old boy insisted an elder child who was not observing sand paper letter presentation.

A 3 year old child linked and spoke about Golu kalasam and kolam mold kalasam designs.

A 3 year old child carefully cleaned the scraping tool for vegetables with water.

A 5 year old child took his lunch box and used like iron box with a small napkin.

 

23. 10. 2015

Sendurai

 

4 new children got admitted and now the total number students are 36.

Today Vijaya dasmi was observed.

Children wrote AUM and a syllable upon raw rice.

New parents saw the environment and they were happy.

We informed our children that after 2 days they cannot see the dolls, they will be packed up.

We introduced ‘’kana niyaasam’’ warming up exercise for writing.

Regular Friday poojas were done.

Energy:

Lemon – juice – Vitamin C

Uni5 concept cannot be done because we have to see to the new crying children.

But this cannot be accepted as we have more staff. Teachers’ attitude has to be changed.

Body level observation:

New children observed all the materials and idols in the center.

A 3 year old child took big animal model and started teaching the fresh children.

A 2 year old child took ashtamangalam set and did rituals to all dolls and idols.

Mind:

A new child observed and started touching and communicating with each Kolu doll.

A 2 year old child after writing in paddy continued her writing activity upon that for long time.

A new child took the big girl doll and played with that long with her mother.

Intelligence:

Most of the children use the big girl doll as their friend and teach all their games, activities to that doll also.

Pungeri

No new admission.

They have sent Navarathry observation.

Vijayami dasami rituals were done.

Body

Children are conscious about various places in center. A 4 year old child saw a nail and made the sieving pan to hang there.

Children observed the rainy day and spoke about rain.

Intelligence:

A 4 year old child commented that they have placed Kolu to remove our unwanted negative thinking and attitudes.

Friday poojas were done. Few children took a small idol and decorated and performed their own rituals to that deity.

An elder child explained how rain comes down to earth.

A 4.5 year old child said that Devi will kill asuras and teachers said that those asuras within us as our bad thoughts.

Senior children made the younger ones to write AUM upon paddy.

Poraiyar – no phone communication

CBE – Only staff worked for new admission. 21 new students, total are 43.

A 4 year old special girl child has joined.

10 months old infant – Dhananjay Krishnan is coming this term too.

They have also initiated kara niyaasam.

From 11 - 22.10.2015 all centers will observe the Navarathry festival and report separately.

Body - a 3 year old child took brush and pan and removed the big ant which can injure the children.

a small child dusted the interior parts of the puzzle trays and started working.

Mind - a 3 year old child came out of the reading room when he felt too much of children in that area.

a 3.5 year old child performed all rituals with ashtamangalam set to Mathangi and gowmari amman.

a 3 year old child said that is uncle got hurt and felt much for that. This got discussed with his friend.

A new child spent lot of time in exploring the big girl doll from USA and spoke to it.

Intelligence - A child was erecting tower cups setting and she explained about shapes and taught to other infant.

A 2.5 year old child sorted out the circles from geometrical insert tray and he was very clear about small and big . He even verbalized perfectly.

**** A 3 year old child said his mother that beet root energy will be converted to dish energy and body energy.

A 2.5 year old child took the real bird's nest and spoke about human family set up in comparison with birds' family.

Poraiyar

Day one  - Few children could not get into the new hall and slowly settled. They were happy about new materials and very happy. They also approach easily the adult to know about the new materials.

All role plays are linked with Sharadha. Children explore the idol as they do in all centers.

Body - A 3.5 year old child insisted infants not to walk upon the kolams.

Mind - Few children have started praying to Sharadha and then sit for circle time.

Intelligence - a child compared teacher's nose stud with the big nose ring of Sharadha Ambikai. 

Many children compares various ornaments, bindhi with their self and Sharadha. 

A child did brain yoga before Ganesa.

A 4 year old child made a gulf model and presented to his friends.

A 4 year old child taught to do pounding to an infant.

A 4 year old child showed river sangamam when she saw 3 roads merging and mother could not understand. Then our teachers explained.

*** When we were advising mothers not to come in nigh dress a child went and told her mother also not to come with her to the center in night dress.

A child compared Sharadha's saree with teacher's saree.

An infant explored a new presentation tray and when he tried to misuse, an elder child said that sir will not get any new items if we misuse.

A 4 year old child made a small child to wash his hands before taking the sand paper letters. [excellent body level awareness]

Children compared Devi's blue beads with sky's blue when they sang about sun.

Few children have started comparing the animal tray models and real photos in books.

Body - a child misused ashtamangalam set and it was corrected by another child. Teachers must be aware.

10 months old infant today tried his best to put brain yoga.

A child washed her hands and that water was touched by another child and she corrected him.

Mind - Today when our helper decorated the Devi idol children said that she has well decorated and Devi is smiling with charms.

A child said that she can offer a set of extra shoes to her friend.

When we are arranging the dolls for Navarathry most of them were much attracted with Mahalaxmi doll.

Intelligence - a child thanked the helper for decorating Devi very beautifully.

A 3 year old child perfectly presented color tablets to a 2 year old child.

A child compared pink tower's color with Devi's pink saree.

A child said that Devi is meditating in the calmness after we all leave from the center.

Energy – wool becoming warm clothing

Uni5 – rain concept along with water cycle.

Body – when we distributed tapioca [cooked] suddenly a 2.5 year old child left the group, we were surprised. She came after washing her hands and received the dish.

Ashtamangalam vessels have been attracted to many children and regularly it is under use.

Mind – a child who cannot walk well another child helped and this child is being guided to see Dr.Chellakumara samy soon. School will fund the poor parents for to and fro travelling.

Children have discussed much about their leave days.

Intelligence – Children connected warm clothes with the seasons. Children knew to decorate the environment. Potatoes were boiled and its skin got compared with their own skin by few children.

Big size animals models have attracted the children very much. Continuously children are taking and making use of that tray.

A 3 year old child compared the big and small size animal’s models and also sorted out based on adaptations. He said big size animals are smaller ones parents.

A 2 year old child presented house set to others.

A 3 year old child touched the beads of a chain of another child and said that they are spherical in shape and she also gave the colors name correctly.

Pungeri

First day was so calm. In holidays our children have given many uni5 concepts to their house members especially to elder children. They followed all the rules and regulations without any distraction after 10 days holidays.

A 4 year old child recited all the shlokas in his home festival.

A child has taken his brother’s book and spoke much about various pictures.

Body – helper’s child [4 years] started cleaning the inner room when her mother cleaned the outer space.

A 3 old child searched and found out an animal model missing.

Intelligence – a child observed, compared and spoke about garlands made of flowers and Rudraksham beads.

An infant took animals’ book and explored for a very long time and also touched and experienced the animals.

A child compared letter B with kaavadi.

A 4 year old child compared and presented animal’s models and book parallel to another child.

A 4.5 year old child and 3 year old child used the traditional balance very well and naturally behaved like purchasing vegetables.

2 children asked whether their grandparents have also joined with Gandhiji to get freedom.

 

When Ganga Pooja was done, a 4 year old child said that Ganga is a river and she gives water to all and there are 7 such rivers.

7.10.2015

Energy - turmeric paste - turmeric water for medicine [can be changed]

Uni5 - Mountain [Pungeri cannot be on their own decision making with uni5 presentation] There is no regularity.

Body - Children have learned to place the objects particularly in their respective places.

A 3 year old child taught another 2 year old child to use the napkin and fold also.

A 3 year old child used the baby doll to convey her wishes in the morning.

Mind - A 4 year old child brought a well prepared curd rice and asked every one to take a spoon.

Intelligence -  a 4 year old child made a camera with legos and showed us. 

A 4 year old child tried to dress the Natarajar idol like us with the special garments.

A 4.5 year old child worked with number rods perfectly till 10.

When Gandhiji's simplicity was explained, a 3 year old child said that he wore a simple dress like the villagers.

A 2 year old child presented parts of the body to a 1 year old child in 2 languages.

Poraiyar

Body - Tulsi garland was made and decorated to Shadradha idol with green saree. But Ganesa idol was given a white dhothi and it was question by children.

Mind - an elder child said that she is unable to remove the kolusu and tomorrow she will make the friend to wear.

We saw a 1.5 year old infant asking a 4 year old boy not to cry.

When a child said that she has seen an island, another child said that she cannot lie because Sharadha is always watching.

Intelligence - When island was explained few elder children compared the sea, lake, farms and etc features with their coastal area.

Sendurai

Today we have reopened after a long leave.

Children were little disturbed after the holidays, we took time to settle back them.

1 new girl child [2.25 years] joined today, total strength - 34

Body - an elder child made the younger one to see the mirror to clean her mouth  after snack time.

Mind - an elder child stopped the new child from crying by feeding with fruits.

Intelligence - The new child offered dates to all children instead of chocolates.

2 elder children took the sound tray and explored with correct words.

A child wanted us to show ashtamangalam set as real object.

Few children compared their teeth color with a native flower's color [nandhiya wattai]

Coimbatore

Uni5 - flowing of steams under earth in comparison with veins in body.

Knitting with wool was shown.

Body  - a 2 year old child correctly placed the parrot in Mathangi's hand. a child who came at 9 A.M observed every object and found mistake with the arrangements. No helpers and teachers have arrived. Ms.Sumathy must be very firm in insisting that a helper and a teacher must be there by 8.45 or 8.50 to prepare and arrange the environment.

Mind - a child said that she went to Thirupathy and brought laddu for all.

Intelligence - children said that veins and blood can be seen only when we open the flesh and like that we have to dig and see for water streams under the Earth.

Children observed the real photos of land forms and asked several questions.

6.10.2015

Energy - medicinal plant - juice for cold.

Uni5 - water falls

Tulsi pooja was performed.

Body - 2 children took the baby doll, dressed well and gave makeup touch.

Mind - Elder children like to spoon feed infants. A  year old child stood before Saraswathy idol and said that her father hit and shouted the mother. This has hurt ed the child and she has expressed before the idol. Staff has spoken about the issue to her grand mother.

Intelligence - Children volunteer for rituals. We are observing children learning indirectly many things from our presentations. A 4 year old child took the book and showed the hump of the camel and spoke about that. The mother was surprised to listen this.

Coimbatore

Body - no observation

Mind - a 4 year old special child have learned to observe and appreciate others work.

Intelligence - a child constructed blue triangles and compared that with crooked streets of villages and farms.

In our center there is a 3 year old child with higher level of awareness who always insist, guide others properly in all activities.

Panchangam is being introduced.

Tulsi pooja was done.

From this term Bharatha natyam is also being shown in PC to cultivate the natural liking for classical art forms.

 

5.10.2015

Pungeri and Poraiyar centers were opened today. Pungeri Energy - sesame seeds - oil Uni5 concept - waves on seas Body - Children came to the center on this reopening day with happy and calmness. A 4 year old child dusted all the sand dusts in the walls after reopening. A 2.5 year old child assisted an infant to get adjusted with the tying rope in worn out dress. When the 10 months old infant put mats disorderly, 1.5 year old infant arranged them properly. Mind - no proper observation Intelligence - A 2.5 year old conveyed properly that her infant brother will not come to the center today. Children are very particular in prayer before eating lunch. A 4 year old child stood near the height chart and asked the staff to measure her height after the leave. Two 4.5 year old children presented traditional Indian balance with weighing stones to few other children. Sendurai staff team has not guided properly to get the essence of day one after a leave gap. This shows their lack of awareness even after 7 years. Coimbatore After the holidays our children came to the center with real joy and refreshed energy. Few children cried and they too got into the regular work soon.
