Why Idols worship to Worship or to connect to God?

What is the Uni5 view on idol worship?. After understanding through uni5, how to guide others?.

In the Uni5 model of connecting to GOD, there are five modes.

First in the body or physical form, through Idols, symbols and signs. Nobody can skip this step, including christianity, Islam, Judaism or any religion. Everybody uses a symbol or a place or direction or a ritual to connect to God.

Nidol worshipot only religious people, everybody uses, signs, symbols, metaphor, analogy to help others comprehend a concept or Truth. A parent or teacher uses this means to connect to a concept. Children understand through cartoons and toys or educational materials to learn science, maths or any subject. Even an atheist would salute a flag that is a symbolic representation of the Country. Why would army men do a ritualistic salute every day march-pasting the flag?. it is because something physical, tangible is needed to focus on an idea or a concept.

When somebody does not move on from the physical and emotional means of connecting to God, then it is retardation of growth, like a child who still uses the educational toys even to go for higher levels.

At a certain stage, one has to give-up these imageries and get to the absolute means of connecting to the concept, here God. Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesha all are higher Truths and their form is a symbolic directing us to it.

Second Emotional Level: Idol worship helps the senses to be focused on the concept, helps the mind to be emotionally bound with the concept. Only if we have an emotional connection we will continue to do any action. Since the images are in human form, we get an emotional connection. Children like cartoons where they are depicted in human forms and also expressing human emotions like animals talking and walking and showing facial expressions like human. Therefore Idol worship gives the emotional satisfaction and thereby gives a higher connection. This is why only in India we have the country depicted by a human figure Bhaarat-Mata a lady figure.

3 Intelligence level: A flag of a country is not just a coloured piece of cloth. There are signs , symbols depicting or revealing the idealogy or something about the country. Even colors have a meaning portraying something symbolic of the country. Similarly the idols of Hindu Gods depict symbolically messages of the qualities of the higher Truth for us to understand and connect to it.

4. Awareness Level: The idols in physical form do receive, store and dissipate that Energy that is subtle like our Life Energy force. We can transform cosmic Energy with our life energy using, thantra and mantra into the idol and Energize it. Only in Bhaarath, this technology has been developed by Rishis, like how we invoke electrical and magnetic energy in a battery , store and dissipate to our applications. This is the fourth level of the purpose of the Idols.

5. Consciousness Level: These physical, emotional, intelligence and awareness levels of the idol worship finally transforms an human into its highest potential that he or she cannot be divided from the qualities of the Cosmos. This division-less state is called as "Divinity". This is the highest purpose of Idol worship. This Self-transformation is the final goal of idol worship. This is similar to the children who goes to the kindergarden school and first through physical toys gets connected to the knowledge, then through emotional liking gets deeper into knowledge and then the meaning of the subjects are decoded to the child, then practical applications are done with that knowledge gain and finally gets a Ph.D where he has transformed into the highest knowledgeable form. The institution doing this gives that through its logo and gives a branded connection through which the child gets transforms , the very purpose of education. In Uni5 Schools we follow these same five pattern.

Guide others to move to the next levels of connecting and not be struck at one level, which means retardation of growth and maturity.
